Been thinking about doing this for a while. I’ve decided it’s finally time that I built myself a Drupal site. In keeping with the times, it’ll be a Drupal 8 installation. I figure it’ll be a great opportunity to get familiar with Drush, a Drupal command line tool, as well as get more practice with Git, a version control tool, which I’ve also been using via the command line for my development project at work recently. I don’t know if I’ll be doing all of this right away, but I do hope to have the basic scaffolding of the site up by this weekend. I bought a new domain from Network Solutions a few days ago and had my GoDaddy account upgraded to the next tier, which will allow me to build more sites on one hosting plan.
